Every presidential election, to date, has had its handful of mudslinging ads. But none like this most recent election. The ugliness and battering of each candidate became so overwhelming and over the top, people began to become sick of it. So did we. Hefty is synonymous with trash so we did what only Hefty knows best. For the few days leading up to the election, Hefty trashed political ads on major news outlets and YouTube. From banner ads on CNN and Fox News to pre-roll on YouTube, and even the New York Times, Hefty helped people block out the mudslinging that was happening. And they loved it. People shared and thanked us for being innovative and having a fresh take on something so bad.
